Mild Sprain
- Pain in the joint, movements are possible
- Swelling of the joint in the following hours or the next day
- The absence of'bruise (blue)
Moderate Sprain
- Pain in the joint, movements are limited, but possible
- Joint swelling in less than 4 hours
- A bruise
Severe Sprain
- The perception of a cracking or tearing sensation
- Pain that is most often intense, with difficulty moving the joint
- It is often impossible to put your weight on the injured limb
- Rapid inflation, in minutes
- A bruise
