Is your reunion holding you back?

That's it ! It's back to school! The children are back in the routine of the next 9 months, and the winter that is coming with it!

After a summer surrounded by our little ones, the start of the school year also marks a difficult period for parents as well as children! They leave again for the day. We have peace for a few hours, and then we start to miss them.

The time has come to welcome them!

And who says welcoming, says bending, taking in the arms and carrying. Ouch! This is where it can really go wrong. By leaning towards our little ones, we are not necessarily paying attention to our movements. Indeed, they are short in size and supposedly do not weigh too heavy. So we bend our backs, we bend forward, we pass our arms under those of our children, and with complete confidence, we lift them with a sharp lift. 3 seconds later, something starts working your lower back. Often the same evening or the next day, we find ourselves completely disabled with a broken back! What was supposed to be a moment of joy ends up blocking us with the whole bouquet of pain and limitations!

The solution ?

When welcoming our child, all it takes is a simple little tip:

  1. Crouch down and get down to their level.
  2. Take them in arms held tightly against our body.
  3. Get up using our legs.

And voila ! A second of attention prevents a week of pain!

Bonus!

This movement actually can be used for those of us who don't have time to train. All you have to do is take our child in our arms, pressed against our body and do a series of squats and sit-ups! Very fun way to do a parent-child squat, causing only benefits!
