Qigong for our health

Some of you have already heard of it, but do not quite know what it is. I will try to briefly demystify the subject for you. Qigong is an exercise originated in china, composed of slow and fluid movements that are synchronixed with breathing. Its primary purpose is to circulate energy (Qi) throughout our body, using good posture, in order to promote optimal overall health. If you want to decrease your stress level, increase your vitality, strenghten your immune system, or simply help prevent health problems, Qigong is for you.

I began my second and final year of study at the National Institute of Chinese Medecine of Canada (INMC) to become a professor in Taiji Qigong Shibashi. If everything goes as planned, I will be ready to give classes for the fall of 2017. If you are interested, send me an email [email protected] so that I can contact you at the appropriate time.

It often happens that there are gaps or stagnations of energies in our body, resulting in pain or health problems. In my training, I also learned Qigong’s therapeutic massage techniques that I can incorporate into my massage therapy treatments when appropriate to do so. In this technique, we use acupuncture points to direct energy where it should go. I am even able to give you specefic Qigong exercises for you to do to help reinforce our work.

Looking forward to making you discover this exciting world.
